Hi! Are you writing a fiction? Are you a writer?

I write fanfiction. Mostly about video games.

Very interesting. Is this how you started learning English?

No, I started learning English in school. But it did help with getting better because I learned how to structure English sentences.

Also, you can reply to my comment directly. You don't need to reply to the entry again.

Oh I see. Thanks for the tip. Obviously I will need more tips to get used with this LiveJournal platform and also to avoid the kind of trouble I'm having right now in the community ^^

Your command of English is simply admirable. I thought you didn't even have to learn it ^^

I can understand that people don't want to deal with the potential trouble of distributing illegal movies. Fines have shot through the roof in the last years. Also, you have to ask yourself the question if your post is appropriate for the community. denglish is about learning German and getting help. Does the movie in any way help with that? Is it a good example of learning a language through watching a movie with good/easy/whatever German?

I'm pretty sure there are comms dedicated to movies on lj. That might be a better place. Also, you said you haven't found many comms yet? Maybe enter your interests (like hobbies or whatever) in the lj search bar and look which comms come up? I find that a very easy way to find new comms.

Personally, I believe there is always something that you didn't know about a language. Maybe even your native one.

I follow the idea that posts should be appropriate for the community. I just think that sometimes we need to be a little flexible when we follow this policy. After all the members are humans, and we should keep them a little entertained so they feel interested and perhaps would participate more.

I have a very clear vision that if I post the next 10 questions, continuously, no one will bother to reply (I wouldn't). Then I, in turn, feel demotivated and then I will just disappear.

Btw your corrections of my last joke amazed me a little bit. I did not have much hope that anyone would reply.

And btw how do you make your avatar change so frequently?

Ah and just to make it clear: I have no interest in posting movies. I did it with an intention to diversify the subjects a little and to entertain other members.

I believe that is for the owner of the comm to decide. And you can be on topic and do something more casual. Like posting a youtube clip about a funny comedian joking about language differences. Or something like that.

I don't think so. After a few days, most people will have forgot about it, especially since you apologised. Also, not everybody has time to do corrections everyday so I wouldn't sweat it. Post every two/three days and everything will be alright.

You can upload more userpics and then you have the option to change your user pics in this comment box thingy (the drop-down menu on the upper right).

Yeah i was kinda excited when I found Denglish, and that was also an effort to check and see how many people were actually around. I wouldn't keep flooding the comm XD

May I ask how long you have been on LiveJournal?

I'm pretty sure most noticed that and nobody will bear a grudge. Everybody had to learn net etiquette at some point in time.

Eh, something like over 4 years? I don't really know but definitely some time after 2008.

Oh and I've been wondering, are you still studying or have you graduated? If this question again shows my lack of net etiquette please ignore and forget it and remember only this: Good night and sweet dreams ^^

I'll graduate this semester if everything goes well.

Good night to you as well.
